COMMON Directions 2008 is our newest conference event, offering two days of wide-ranging, IBM i-related educational sessions. It will feature 50 educational sessions in a variety of leading-edge topics, presented by the most respected speakers in the industry.

Brian Carlson is the Vice President and co-founder of Cornerstone Solutions, a supply chain execution consulting firm. Brian has over fifteen years of experience in supply chain related technology including warehouse management, transportation, order fulfillment and customer compliance. He frequently speaks at industry tradeshows, including DC Expo, APICS, several different software user groups, and CUCG. He has also authored numerous articles and has been published in Inbound Logistics, Parcel Shipping & Distribution and MHIA; as well as the supply chain market and WERC websites. Brian has managed the software evaluation and selection process for dozens of companies including companies such as Jacuzzi, Delta and McCormick.

COMMON Unveils New Educational Conference Offering - COMMON Directions
February 12, 2008 - COMMON today unveiled a new educational conference offering, COMMON Directions, as an addition to its "COMMON...Customized" education model. This new conference will feature two days of i5/OS education and offer a wide range of educational sessions. COMMON Directions will also feature a small tabletop-style Expo of solution providers showcasing the latest products and innovations of i5/OS-related technologies. The inaugural COMMON Directions conference will take place in Dallas, Texas on Thursday, September 25 and Friday, September 26, 2008.
COMMON Directions was introduced to address the growing and varied needs of the COMMON membership, and the i5/OS community at large. As Randy Dufault, COMMON's President states, "2007 was a year of significant change for COMMON and by most measures, a very successful year of change."
