  • Restaurant Link Rebate Tracking & Payment System. 100% Web UI, DB2, 99% Java, Small Amount of RPG. Replaced a combination of Salesforce.com, Quickbooks on-line, & other accounting solutions.
  • Upland Mutual Insurance Complete Insurance Company Functionality, 15 Lines of Business; Auto policy program delivered on-line to their agents. Implemented Web solution for storage & retrieval of documents. 15% Web UI done for the most important pieces but a lot of RPG remained; DB2, Linux / Tomcat, Java, Mostly RPG (Green Screen).
  • EZ Access Suite Suite of applications modernized for Web delivery. 10% Web UI implemented over existing Green Screen Application, 100% Green Screen Remained (legacy RPG), DB2, Java. Single sign-on for disparate solutions for bill payment, financial statements, Payroll/HR, document imaging, etc was implemented.

BIOGRAPHY:

Jeff Stevens has been developing and managing in the mid-range environment since 1984, and is currently the Chief Technology Officer for RestaurantLink, a company providing services to the restaurant industry. Jeff has been a past speaker at IBM common, and GeneXus USA events. His current focus is developing browser based applications using GeneXus, deployed on Linux/Tomcat servers, with the data housed on the IBM system I. He previously was the Senior GeneXus Developer for Mize Houser & Co., for over 13 years using GeneXus and RPG, and deploying to the System I. While at Mize Houser, he developed many applications for several different industries, including Mutual and Auto Insurance, Health Care Billing, Professional time and billing systems, Food Store Associations, and several other business based applications. Eventually he developed the Rebate Tracking and Processing system for RestauratLink. He has the unique position of being an accomplished RPG and GeneXus developer. Jeff has also served as Administrative Vice-President for Tollie Freightways, managing and developing applications for the IBM System 36, and IBM AS400 for the motor carrier industry.
