Now we can do PHP on the System i.
This presentation will introduce you to PHP giving you the base for you to do PHP on the System i. We will see: What you should know before you start, What's needed on your development machine, Getting started - "Hello, World!", Integrating with HTML, Extending PHP - Object-oriented programming, Ajax and other options and Recommended IDE's.
Also, we will look into PHP System i specifics so you can be as prepared as possible for the PHP one day event in May.
BIOGRAPHY:
Matt Thompson is a senior software developer and has been working with PHP for 10 years. Besides PHP he also develops applications in .NET, C++ and web applications employing Ajax and Ext JS.
